Senior Content Strategist


Do you have a passion for communicating with audiences in inspired and creative ways?  We are looking for a senior content strategist with expertise in crafting compelling and cohesive narratives across touch points.


Phase2s mission is to create digital experiences that advance the human experience, and we believe that content is the cornerstone of that effort. Your work will help our clients move their businesses forward, connect with their audiences, and increase brand affinity for some of the worlds most impactful organizations. 



  • Collaborate with client and internal teams to define, design, and implement messaging strategies for a variety of projects 

  • Craft strategic messaging, storytelling, and content strategy for our clients 

  • Develop a clients brand voice

  • Maintain an audience-centric view at all times

  • Develop core narratives that connect across touch points to assure cohesion and impact

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions

  • Apply user research to development of messaging strategies and iterating as needed 

  • Develop close working relationships with other practice areas such as UX, design, and brand 

  • Interview key stakeholders to align messaging with business goals

  • Provide messaging and content recommendations to clients based on research

  • Create messaging frameworks that help our clients create and maintain a cohesive voice and narrative

  • Experience with various styles of copywriting including writing for the web best practices, UX, directional copywriting, voice and campaigns  

  • Help our clients understand the value of content strategy and what problems it solves for them

  • Work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects at once

  • Meet strict deadlines

  • Turn great ideas into executable strategies 

  • Create overall digital communication strategies for our clients that encompass their entire customer journey 

  • Apply industry-specific compliance standards and regulation to messaging strategy 

  • Pitch potential and existing clients on concepts and work (both remotely and in-person)

  • Maintaining a journalists sensibility in order to identify a clients brand story and an ability to develop a strategy to tell it across touch points


You must have experience that includes: 

  • 10+ years digital communications or content strategy experience

  • Experience scoping / estimating work 

  • Experience across communication channels with deep expertise in digital (website, social, app, voice) 

  • A sophisticated appreciation of the intersection of content, design, and UX and the part each play in communicating effectively

  • Experience leading creative content workshops 

  • Prior agency experience

  • Strong work ethic

  • An exceptional portfolio 

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
