ServeFed Is seeking a NP/PA  to provide support to NASA at Edwards Air force Base.


The Occupational Medicine function also promotes the health of the air force C workforce through the operation and management of an on-site Fitness Center and wellness campaigns (e.g. flu vaccinations, blood pressure checks).

Qualifications and Experience required:

  •  Basic Life Support (certified by the American Heart Association);

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (certified by the American Heart Association);

  • RN Nursing License (State of California) or PA license (State of California);

  • Certified by the CAOHC (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation)

  •  Completion of the NIOSH (National Institute of Occupational Safety and Heath) Spirometry Course; and

  •  Certified, and Registered as an FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) Medical Examiner.




  • Tues-Fri, 7.30am 4.00 pm


Job Duties:

  • Perform work-related medical examinations.

  • Assess, treat and manage workplace illnesses and injuries within the purview of the Health Unit.

  • Assess and treat urgent or emergent conditions, such as acute coronary syndrome, acute myocardial infarction, or cerebrovascular accident (stroke) on an initial (i.e. urgent or emergence) basis.

  • Respond immediately to 911 emergency calls in accordance with the Centers Emergency.

  • Assess non-work-related illnesses.

  • Document all patient contacts in the NASA-provided electronic health record system (EHRS).

  • Complete all required forms in accordance with standard practice and specific NASA guidance
