Job Details

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing staff. You will provide direct patient care and perform thorough examinations and assist in creating treatment plans for Type 2 diabetic patients. We also do stem cell injections and PRP injections. When required, you will collaborate with our physicians to treat advanced illnesses or injuries related to diabetes. Our ideal candidate has a current state license to practice, insurance credentialing, and at least 2-4 years of medical experience.

Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate new patient consultation and health history review

  • Provide Stem Cell Adipose Tissue injections and or Platelet Rich Plasma injections and other treatments

  • Perform physical examinations and screenings of patients

  • Order and administer tests including bloodwork

  • Review and interpret test results to diagnose health problems

  • Recommend further treatment options or future appointments if needed

  • Provide referrals to other practitioners when necessary

  • Provide after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families

  • Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.

Nurse Practitioner Requirements and Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Nursing

  • Current state nurse practitioner license

  • 2-4 years of clinical work experience

  • Must be compassionate and personable

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other medical staff

  • Strong leadership skills, self-confidence, and ability to remain calm in stressful situations

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Exceptional active listening skills

  • Current DEA certification

  • Currently credentialed/registered with Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance

  • Understands HIPAA and OSHA regulations

  • Able to operate as part of a team, alongside physicians and other nurses

  • Proficient in EHR medical charting system and computer-based data management programs and information systems


Employment Variables

  • Office Hours:  9:00 am-6:00 pm Monday-Friday 

    • Lunch From 12 to 1 pm and NO Weekend Work or Being On-Call

  • Job Type: Full-time 

  • Starting Hourly Rate: $47.00 to $65.00 /hour

  • Work Location: Charleston

  • Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
