Data Management Administrator


 


GENERAL SUMMARY


Manages all aspects of organizational data; establishes and maintains policies and procedures for planning, designing and maintaining an information bank to ensure that data services are delivered in a high quality and profitable manner. 


 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Design and build relational database models and define data requirements to meet the business needs


Determine transition strategy from current to new architecture, including integration from current data and information systems


Monitor and improve data efficiencies throughout financial institution


Manage comprehensive data validation


Implement/maintain data governance 


Develop strategies for data acquisition


Monitor and resolve database performance and capacity issues


Performs other duties as assigned.


Must understand and comply with all required federal and state regulations associated with this position.


Must be able to speak and understand fluent English.


 


Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Programming or related field, at least 5 years data management experience.  Advanced Excel knowledge requiring SQL code writing required. Previous financial institution experience preferred but not required.
