 Business Development Executive



Opportunity Scope



Inspired by creating niches and innovative uses for consumer products, Magline is seeking a high energy hunter for our Business Development Executive Role.    Our company will match your desire to develop opportunities with excellent brand marketing and new market support but ultimately you must take responsibility for generating, prospecting and developing new strategic accounts.



 



The Magliner brand already serves multiple global companies in their last mile of delivery and you must be able to provide a business plan to grow and provide exposure for new products and openings  for some of Maglines largest and most strategic accounts in North America.  Magliner Employees create unprecedented value for our customer base and this role is about remaining the leader in the market with our disruptive product base and about delivering solutions to a customer distribution problems. 




 




  • Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team



  • Utilize networking and prospecting skills to generate leads and rigorously qualify them prior to pursuit.  



  • Preparation and execution of strategic account plans, status reports, sales and revenue forecasting and quota attainment.



  • Be an expert on Maglines product offerings, clearly understand customers needs and provide service/product solutions.



  • Be observant for new product opportunities to address unmet customer needs



  • Work closely with the Engineering Team to create new product offerings balancing function and cost for optimal ROI for both Magline and customer



  • Know when to say no quickly, and disengage gracefully



  • Collaborate with Maglines Marketing Team to develop creative prospecting plans



  • Utilize Maglines CRM software to document contacts, activityand pipeline



  • Work with other Magline sales channels to cross promote products and services


     


    Requirements



  • Demonstrated sales success selling B2B mechanical and electromechanical equipment and solutions



  • Exhibits hunter mentality and possesses exceptional ability to close sales



  • 7 years minimum experience engaging with senior-level executives in large organizations



  • Strong understanding of route delivery businesses in different verticals such as soft drink, beer, bottled water, and food is a plus.



  • Experience with white-glove,last mile delivery issues and processes



  • Adherence to consultative, solution sales approach versus product/transactional sales approach



  • Experience utilizing CRM software (Infor CRM or Salesforce.)



  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels



  • Strong writing and clear communication skills



  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word



  • Think creatively to solve problems, not just describe them



  • Willingness to travel nationwide as needed (approximately 50%)



  • Bachelors degree or equivalent, MBA a plus
